We became interested in Christian Science...
We became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my husband of what the doctors said was an incurable disease. He had a stroke which partly paralyzed the lower part of his body, and medicine was prescribed that was to be taken every day. He would take one kind of medicine until it lost its effectiveness and then take another.
Other ailments came upon him which the doctors said were caused by the strong medicine he was taking; but they could offer no other remedy, and he was told to continue with what he was doing.
At that time a friend of ours moved to California. He was doing so well in business that he wanted my husband to work with him. We moved to California, and upon our arrival we learned that our friend's wife had been healed of inflammatory rheumatism through Christian Science.
