After being a student of Christian Science...

After being a student of Christian Science for about seven years and after experiencing a wonderful healing of a stomach disorder, I again found myself in fearful distress. It seemed that a growth had developed on one of my gums.

Fully aware of my past healing. which proved to me that Christian Science heals, I prayed earnestly to see the unreality of this physical condition. In spite of this effort, the evidence of the growth was increasing. Fear and anxiety added to my deep concern.

Through the help of a Christian Science practitioner and the sincere study of the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I learned more of my real selfhood as God's image and likeness. I found myself exchanging my concept of man as physical for the realization that man is spiritual. More than ever before did I see the wisdom in the admonition of the words in the Bible (Isa. 2:22), "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?"
