IMPROVING EACH MOMENT
Every problem of lack or limitation has its origin and existence somewhere in the realm of time. As human beings, the good we seek is often lost in the past, unobtainable in the present, or far off in the future. The Preacher, however, declared centuries ago (Eccl. 3:15), "That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past."
Since the discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy in the year 1866, the destruction of the belief in the limitations of time is gradually coming to pass. "Eternity, not time," she writes, "expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity. One ceases in proportion as the other is recognized" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 468).
A spiritual understanding of the nature of God as eternal Life, infinite good, gained through the study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, enables one to claim the riches of his birthright as a son of God, including perfect health and abundance, and all other spiritual qualities which a false sense of time has obscured.
