The study of Christian Science has been invaluable to me in rearing a family of four children. I depend on it and on nothing else for the solution of all of our problems. The children have always attended the Christian Science Sunday School and have learned to use for themselves the simple truths they are taught there.

At one time one of our children had been uncomfortable most of the night. The next morning an alarming condition developed. It was not diagnosed, but I feared that it was polio. I called a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help. She told me to pour more love into my consciousness. That was so simple and yet effective. It relieved me of fear right away. When fear again assailed me, making me unable to sleep. I studied throughout the night. Whenever the child cried out, I kept knowing that the infinite Father-Mother God always tends His little ones, and I relied radically on that thought.

By noon of the third day the child was running around the house, completely healed. I felt much gratitude to God for the healing and for the deeper understanding I had gained of His omnipotence and of man's inseparability from Him.
