THE IMPORTANCE OF LOYALTY

Loyalty to the one infinite Mind, God, enabled Christ Jesus to heal the sick, save the sinner, and raise the dead. His unmatched example of true allegiance to his Maker is an inspiration to all who would follow in his footsteps.

Mary Baker Eddy, speaking of students' loyalty, states in her work "Retrospection and Introspection" (p. 50), "By loyalty in students I mean this,—allegiance to God, subordination of the human to the divine, steadfast justice, and strict adherence to divine Truth and Love."

Mrs. Eddy's loyalty to God, divine Principle, and her steadfast adherence to His guidance and to the teachings of the Master enabled her to give to mankind the healing ministry of Christian Science.
