Church Dedications
Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.
Krugersdorp Times en Wesrander
Krugersdorp, Transvaal, Union of South Africa (First Church).
The members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Krugersdorp, will hold dedicatory services at 66 Human Street on Sunday next at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The history of this church began in 1920 when several students of Christian Science in Krugersdorp decided to hold a regular service each Sunday morning and to open a Sunday School for their children. The services were held in Thomson's Buildings and continued until growth and progress made it necessary to move to the Woodworkers' Hall.
