I became interested in Christian Science when I saw my wife reading Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy for many hours at a time without glasses. For many years prior to this she had worn glasses, because without them she had suffered severe headaches.

The television program, "How Christian Science Heals," of April 27, 1958, reminded me of a healing I had several years ago. I was driving my automobile on our busiest street, and I collided head on with a fast-moving streetcar. The impact as the streetcar hit my automobile was so great that both my car and the streetcar were damaged, and I was injured.

The police wanted to take me to a hospital, but I asked to be taken home. A Christian Science practitioner was called to my bedside, and prayerful work was begun. From then on, for seven days I could feel adjustments going on in my body, and in another two weeks I was back at the office completely healed.
