The wisest step I ever took was my acceptance of Christian Science, and my most exalting moments have been those in which the supremacy of God, Spirit, over matter has been proved.

By trusting God and abiding in Him during a national depression, I was offered a position which exceeded my expectations in environment, contacts, and supply. As I progressed in spiritual understanding, all desire for alcohol and cigarettes vanished.

When it was brought to my attention that shyness is a form of selfishness, a correct sense of security was attained, and self-consciousness decreased as the consciousness of man as God's idea increased. Grief also was healed when selfishness was discovered to be its source.
