"ANSWER THE WORDS OF TRUTH"

In Proverbs (22:20, 21) we read, "Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?"

Through our study of the Bible and of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we have ever at hand "the words of truth" with which to answer every question or need that comes to our attention. One of the chapters in the textbook is entitled "Footsteps of Truth." This chapter is full of "counsels and knowledge" which make us "know the certainty of the words of truth."

On page 207 our Leader writes: "There is but one primal cause. Therefore there can be no effect from any other cause, and there can be no reality in aught which does not proceed from this great and only cause. Sin, sickness, disease, and death belong not to the Science of being. They are the errors, which presuppose the absence of Truth, Life, or Love."
