Teaching Little Children
[From a teacher in a branch church Sunday School]
It is an interesting and joyous task to teach the little children in the Christian Science Sunday School, especially when we realize how very important it is that they get a proper start toward a right and provable understanding of Christian Science.
In a class of three to five-year-old pupils the first Sunday a problem as to wisest procedure presented itself. A few Bible stories had been told, but it was soon apparent that no interest had been aroused. In an effort to be more practical, the teacher spoke of God's protective love and power, emphasizing that no one need ever be afraid. The question was asked, "What keeps us from being afraid in the dark?"
And quickly a little girl responded, "A flashlight!"
