ONE HARMONIOUS ROUND

Physical scientists are progressing in overcoming time and space. Why? Because fetters are being removed from thought. Certainly the accomplishments of these scientists point to the unreality of matter and to man's dominion over all. Mankind is asking, "How will the achievements of physical science affect individuals?" Actually, phenomena taking place in the world are occurring within the human consciousness itself, for it sees its own thoughts. The activity of human thought will always determine every human phenomenon, will govern it and not be governed by it.

Christian Science teaches that while the unreal never affects the real, the real does act upon the unreal, destroys its pretensions, and manifests the ever-present harmony which the unreal cannot obscure. Consequently, mortal thought does not alter the status of God's man. But the understanding of man's true selfhood as God's likeness acts as a law of harmony and order to what is termed the human body.

Furthermore, the divine Principle which is God can be applied not only to bodily ills, but also to the government of the affairs of humanity. Through Christian Science the divine Mind is proved to be supreme in the so-called material universe. Nothing exists outside Mind's government and control.
