"THIS IS THE WAY"

Isaiah, one of the Old Testament prophets, roused and inspired the Israelites as he told them of God's power and judgments that would deliver them from their foes and lead them to a golden age. The book of Isaiah records not only the warnings and promises given to the Jewish people, but the prophecy of a Messiah, who was to rule the people in all time to come.

Again and again when the Israelites strayed into the paths of strange gods and belief in material power, Isaiah called them back, and we find him promising them (30:21), "Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."
