THE REAL SYSTEM

Because Christ Jesus was aware of God, all-harmonious Spirit, and of His beautiful, spiritual universe, he acted in a different manner from his fellow men who believed in a material world. He did not think of man as living in a material system called the body. He knew that the real man's system is spiritual and God-controlled; that God is all-harmonious, perfect Life; therefore nothing can ever be wrong in man's system; nothing can wear out or be out of order. Its substance is the eternal substance — God, Spirit.

A great sense of freedom and joy comes to us when we learn in Christian Science that the spiritual system reflects the eternal elements of Mind, Spirit. Then in this system, everything is co-ordinating; everything in it is perfectly related and moves in perfect harmony always.

Since man's system is the manifestation of God, Truth, it is governed by perfect law. The supposed activity of material law is annulled by the spiritual facts regarding man's status as the idea of God.
