A report that "no decision has yet been reached regarding the rating, or non-rating, of the building in Aotaki Street used by Christian Science Society, Otaki," appeared in your [paper] under the heading, "A Church or Not a Church."

Will you kindly allow me to state in reply that all Christian Science churches in New Zealand are registered under the Religious, Charitable and Educational Trust Act, 1920; therefore in terms of the Rating Act, 1925, rates are not required to be paid on the buildings used for church purposes.
