RADIO PROGRAM No. 286 - Divine Guidance in Business

Speaker: Do prayer and business go together? They should! And those who turn to God for guidance during their workday find that difficult business problems can be solved through prayer. Burt L. Knowles had proof of the effectiveness of such prayer in a difficult business transaction. You see, Mr. Knowles is a Christian Scientist and for many years has applied its teachings in his business. Our guest is now living in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Knowles, I believe the experience you're going to tell us about happened some time ago.

Mr. Knowles: It was back in the days when I had my own construction company. I'd been given a contract to build a new mercantile building and also to remodel an old one next to it. My business was in Massachusetts. But the company I was building for had its main offices in Detroit [Michigan], The Detroit company had its own engineering force; they made their own drawings.
