GIANTS

So Joshua and Caleb went ahead
With their companions to spy out the land,
The two with faith, the rest with doubt and dread.

The faithful pair, obeying God's command,
Proclaimed a rich and goodly land was there.
The fearful warned: Those living there, they said,
Were giants, dangerous and invincible.

But when the men of Israel dared
Invade the land a generation thence
And face the sons of Anak, Israel
Conquered easily.

Sometimes mankind
Inflates its troubles till they seem immense.
But when we realize that God is All,
That He is loving Principle, we find
Our giant troubles fade to nothingness.
Since God is great and hears us when we call,
The only truth there is will surely bless.
