RADICAL RELIANCE
"Christianity will never be based on a divine Principle and so found to be unerring, until its absolute Science is reached." Mary Baker Eddy makes this statement on pages 483 and 484 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
One definition of the word "absolute" is "free from mixture." Thus we see that truly to demonstrate Christianity, to follow the Way-shower, Christ Jesus, we must claim as our Mind the Mind that is God. Only this divine Mind is free from the belief of a mixture of good and evil based on the suggestion of life in matter.
Holding steadfastly to the absolute Science of being, irrespective of what material sense testimony seems to be suggesting to us, is indeed proving the truth of these words in Science and Health (p. 167): "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized."
