"OUR SUFFICIENCY IS OF GOD"

True supply, Christian Science affirms, always meets human needs. This result is in demonstration of the spiritual fact that nothing required in creation's infinite unfoldment is ever withheld from man, God's perfect reflection. The supply of that which is requisite for perfect being is always adequate for each idea in God's universe. If any needed thing were withheld from His ideas, creation would not be infinite and complete. Something would be lacking. But there is no lack in Spirit, God. Hence there is no deficiency in Spirit's creation.

In human experience the cry of lack may be heard on every hand — lack of supply, of love, of health, of harmony, of wisdom or foresight, of purity. This cry is lessened through Christian Science in the very measure that one understands there is and can be no lack in God and faithfully applies the truth to the mortal belief in the existence of insufficiency.

Speaking of God's abundant provision for human needs, Paul said (II Cor. 9:8), "God is able to make all grace abound toward you ; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." God's grace is not in any way limited. Whatever the righteous needs may be, God's grace, His infinite perfection, goodness, and fullness, is present to meet them.
