I wish to express a deep appreciation...
I wish to express a deep appreciation of Christian Science. Without it, everyday living would certainly be meaningless to me. During my high school days I was very active in athletics and many other school activities. About midway in my senior year, I suffered a physical breakdown.
Doctors diagnosed the condition as athletic heart. They recommended that I take no part in any further physical activity and completely rest for one year.
I managed to finish high school by going to bed every day after school. However, matters grew worse after graduation, and I spent all of my time in bed. I was very much discouraged, because it had been my greatest wish to go to college.
