SCARSDALE, NEW YORK (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Scarsdale, New York, a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, held its dedicatory services on Sunday, May 18. At services conducted at eleven o'clock and at five o'clock, a brief history of the church was read, and it expressed gratitude for the generous support of neighboring branch churches and friends.

In the summer of 1924, a small group of Christian Scientists met informally to arrange for regular church services in Scarsdale. All those in the village known to be interested in Christian Science were invited to attend the first service, which was held in a building in the Station Plaza in September, 1924.
