Through the study and application...
Through the study and application of Christian Science, my whole way of life has been changed. My family and I have experienced many healings through the years; but at this time I wish to express gratitude for my first healing in the hope that it will help others as I have been helped.
I was suffering from paralyzed bowels and a complete nervous breakdown. Physicians had told my husband that I could never survive an operation and that they would give me only six months to live. I was told that medicine could do nothing more for me. I was taking physical exercises, which were very strenuous, cold baths, and I walked a mile every morning.
When the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was presented to me I asked the question, "Will the reading of this book heal me?"
