The testimonies in the Christian Science...
The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals are a never-ending source of joy and inspiration to me, and they have always been a source of encouragement, especially when my footsteps have been faltering and slow.
From early childhood, medicine was administered to me for the slightest indication of some one of many ills that often seemed to beset me. Also, much fear was expressed all through my girlhood about the weather as being a cause of colds and the discomforts that accompany them. Each winter I went through long periods of severe head colds and attacks of influenza.
After I had taken up the study of Christian Science and had begun to apply the truth of man's God-given freedom, as I was learning to do in my study, and to claim my inseparability from God, good, these conditions ceased to be a part of my experience.
