THE ONLY TRUE ANTIDOTE

Christian Science presents the only true antidote for mankind's ills. Whatever form sickness or discord may take, it is not to drugs and material antidotes or remedies that the one seeking health and harmony need direct his thought and attention. Instead, by turning his thought to God, divine Truth, the only real source of man's health, and diligently studying the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, he will find fear disappearing and confidence in the allness of God appearing. Gaining an understanding of God and of man as His perfect spiritual reflection opens the way for healing in Christian Science.

Mrs. Eddy describes "a sovereign antidote for error" in the textbook. She writes (p. 495): "If sickness is true or the idea of Truth, you cannot destroy sickness, and it would be absurd to try. Then classify sickness and error as our Master did, when he spoke of the sick, 'whom Satan hath bound,' and find a sovereign antidote for error in the life-giving power of Truth acting on human belief, a power which opens the prison doors to such as are bound, and sets the captive free physically and morally."

Placing all our trust in God, Truth, and spiritually understanding that He is omnipotent and omnipresent light the way to the practical application of this sovereign antidote for every ill of the flesh.
