While I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, or for the correction of negative thinking, healings and a more harmonious life have resulted.

At one time a severe laceration on one foot had been the cause of much discomfort and sometimes of nearly unbearable pain. I asked a Christian Science friend for treatment to help eliminate the condition through prayer; but very little progress was made, and my own efforts were unavailing.

I was throughly convinced of the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Thereupon I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner in a distant city. Before I could replace the telephone on the table, I could feel healing taking place. It was instantaneous and has been permanent.
