The members of my family and I have experienced numerous blessings through the application of the truths of Christian Science. These blessings include the healings of pneumonia and of gallstones. Also business problems have been solved, and accidents have been prevented.

I was completely healed of grief and a feeling of separation when one very dear to me passed on. The clear understanding that God is our only Father made it clear to me that man in His likeness can never experience death. Man, I realized, is expressing God, who is Life. My thought was lifted above what the material sense presented.

Three years ago, our first child was harmoniously delivered at home under Christian Science treatment. Later when it was evident that a second child was on the way, I again requested help from a Christian Science practitioner. I was reminded that there had been painless childbirths with Christian Science treatment, and this statement from Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy was quoted (p. 323): "Beholding the infinite tasks of truth, we pause,—wait on God. Then we push onward, until boundless thought walks enraptured, and conception unconfined is winged to reach the divine glory."
