It is with a heart filled with gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy that I wish to tell of a healing which I had seventeen years ago through the study and application of Christian Science and the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner.

A cancer of the breast had manifested itself. At this time, also, one of my sons, a boy of eighteen, had passed on in an accident. After this I went to the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast for rest and care. Here I received much help and continued to have the help of the practitioner.

One day after I had been having treatment for the cancerous condition for some time, the practitioner said to me, "You say this is not true."
