Sometimes my friends ask, "Why do you give so much time to your work as a circulation representative of The Christian Science Monitor?"

Then I ask myself the question, "How can I afford not to work with my whole heart for the newspaper that brought me into Christian Science, a religion which has transformed my life, my home, and my husband's business?"

My high school history teacher first told me about the Monitor. She said it was a great newspaper and urged me to read it, but I was not ready to do so at that time.
