It is with great joy and gratitude that I testify to the healing power of divine Science. I grew up in a Christian Science home and attended the Christian Science Sunday School from an early age; but it was not until later in my life, when a hernia became serious, that I really began to study in earnest.

When this condition first appeared, I obtained a support, and this I wore for many years. I also had the help of Christian Science practitioners at different times; but I was not healed, and I drifted along until the trouble was very severe.

I was tempted to believe I needed medical help and called for a doctor. But before the doctor arrived I knew in my innermost heart that this was wrong. Immediately the thought came to me very clearly that God is the only physician and that He is more powerful than any belief. In fact, He is all-power. When the doctor arrived and predicted fatal results unless I had an operation, I told him I intended to rely entirely on Christian Science.
