I am so grateful for the complete sense of peace, joy, and harmony that has been expressed in our home by our entire family through the study of Christian Science. The rewards of putting our service to the Cause of Christian Science first have been abundant.

I am especially grateful for the privilege of having served as a Reader in a branch church and should like to tell of a wonderful healing that took place the last Sunday that I was to serve. I had not missed a service in three years, but for two or three days I had been wrestling with the symptoms of a cold and was tempted several times to listen to the argument that perhaps I could not be in my place on Sunday.

Rather then expect evil, I clung to the statement from the Bible (Ps. 62:5), "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him." However, Saturday night came, and at rehearsal the symptoms were very much aggravated. I still did not yield to the suggestion to get a substitute for the service, but instead asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner.
