TRUE DISCIPLINE OF CHILDREN

Parents and educators recognize the wisdom found in Proverbs (22:6), "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." The children taught in the Christian Science Sunday School are adults of tomorrow who will help to carry on the Christian Science movement. Does it not behoove all who deal with these children to handle them in as enlightened ways as can possibly be found in the study of Christian Science?

In the disciplining of children, parents and teachers hope that a child will learn to turn from the wrong and love the right. The discipline of our children should always be patterned after that of the divine Parent, our Father-Mother God, of whom the poet wrote (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 124),
