He went a little further—always he wentFurther—outdistancing in more than space—Further in meekness, further in consentTo do the Father's will, further in grace.

He went a little further. Still he goesBeyond the bounds that lesser men have made,Outstripping in his love sinners and foes,And overtaking all that are afraid.
