For many years Christian Science has been my only help in trouble. It has disciplined me, healed me, and given me a reason for existing. In my travel over many continents and oceans, Science has provided an unfailing protection and guide. It has taught me to love more, to be more grateful for good received, and more obedient to God's commands; and it has given me a new appreciation of the Bible, which was a closed book to me until "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy revealed its treasures of Truth.

I wish to relate the following healing. For two weeks I had had a severe cold. On Sunday morning when I awoke it seemed worse instead of better. I thought: "I cannot go and teach in Sunday School with this. What will those little girls think?"

However, I went. Only two pupils were present. As the hour went on and I continued to manifest discordant physical symptoms, I stopped short in my teaching and asked, "Who wants to give me a Christian Science treatment?" Both of these eleven-year-old children said, "I do."
