Many years ago I accepted Christian Science as the religion I had been searching for, and the study of it has brought me countless blessings. Although I did not come into Christian Science for a physical healing, I have had many.

Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 261), "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts." Though I had always believed I possessed fair health, I am very grateful for even better health than I have ever had before.

Eyeglasses were put off several years ago, and I have gained a growing understanding of the definition of "eyes," given by Mrs. Eddy, part of which is (ibid., p. 586), "Spiritual discernment,—not material but mental." The correction of traits of character is another blessing for which I am most grateful. Timidity has been replaced by courage, and self-righteousness has given way to love for God and man.
