Christian Science means more to...
Christian Science means more to me than anything else in the world, and I should like to tell of my first healing, although I have had many since this one.
Twenty-seven years ago I was told by my attending surgeon that due to a spinal injury which I had received, I would be a complete invalid for the rest of my life. Even for partial comfort, he said, I must have an osteopathic treatment every second week. The suffering was so intense that I was no longer able to take solid food.
One night I asked God to take me to that home which was prepared for those who love Him. With my head on my Bible, I fell asleep. During the night these thoughts came to me: "Don't pray to die; the world needs you. Try Christian Science."
