In every way I have great cause to be thankful for Christian Science. It has healed all the sickness and sorrow which our family has experienced. Many times the healings were accomplished simply by reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. When problems have appeared unsurmountable, I have called for help from a loving practitioner.

My son was sickly from birth, suffering from asthma, rickets, and eczema. Twice during the severe attacks of asthma, it appeared that the boy could not live. Each time, I called the practitioner, and the boy was free by morning.

The practitioner always assured us that the boy was in reality God's child and therefore perfect. The doctors had prescribed braces for the boy's legs because he was badly deformed as an aftermath of the rickets, but this condition too was completely healed in Christian Science. Since these wonderful proofs of God's care, he had lived an athletic life and has always been in perfect health.
