of the first requirements demanded of students of Christian Science is that they lean on God.

Radical
reliance on Truth has enabled the right thinker in every age to prove in varying degree the omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence of God.
Men
are constantly striving to multiply good, to enlarge their incomes, to increase their happiness, to have a larger and more secure sense of abundance.
Men
have always looked to the sun for light, heat, food, health, and even happiness.
When
a person appears in court to give testimony, he must swear to tell the truth before he is allowed to take the witness stand.
In
this age, in which the tendency is toward mass communicating and thinking, few things are more needed than the understanding of the distinctness and persistence of identity.
In
a world stirred by scientific wonders, each surpassing the other in prospective power to bless or to harm, there is a deeply troubled consciousness that is groping for direction.

I became interested in Christian Science in 1909.
Through the study and application of the Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, students of Christian Science are able to bring into their experience proofs of the promises of God to His beloved children.
