Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to God for giving Christian Science to the world through our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has made clear the method of healing practiced by our Way-shower, Christ Jesus.

The first Christian Science healing I can remember as a small child was that of an elderly woman who was freed from the effects of a severe accident after her physician could do no more for her. This healing made a great impression on my thought. At that time my mother began to study Christian Science, and I have not known any other religion or physician since then.

Among the healings in our family have been those of diptheria, goiter, blood poisoning, granulated eyelids, and so-called children's diseases. We have been divinely protected from accidents and supplied with much good. I am grateful to have learned that God's law governs the universe, including man, and that by our applying the law of divine Love, as we are taught to do in Christian Science, and relying radically on God, all our problems can be solved.
