My testimony of how I came into Christian Science appeared in The Christian Science Journal for December, 1949. Since then our family of six has had many proofs of God's ever-presence.

Christian Science has been of inestimable value in the rearing of our children, making it a joyous experience instead of one of fear and inharmony. At the age of three or four years, each of the children began making demonstrations of Truth. They have been healed of so-called children's diseases and have been completely protected from the many copperheads, coral snakes, and rattlesnakes that are found in this area in which we have built our home.

I wish to tell of one of the outstanding proofs we have had of protection through prayer. After the Christmas holidays of 1955, my husband and I drove to Oklahoma to attend a wedding. The day after New Year's Day, we began the trip home. While traveling, we devoted a great part of the time to singing Christian Science hymns and to declaring the truth concerning God and His creation. We had been doing this most of the day; so we felt spiritually inspired and confident of God's goodness and love.
