This testimony is written for the purpose of sharing with the Field my sincere gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the religion of Love which she gave to us, and to express my gratitude for The Christian Science Monitor, which she founded and of which she wrote in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 353), "The object of the Monitor is to injure no man, but to bless all mankind."

Many have shared in the blessing which has come to us through a demonstration of our understanding of true home and through our desire to make our home available to others. Wishing to sell the house we then owned and having learned many lessons regarding man's true home, I requested a Christian Science practitioner to work prayerfully for us. Many beautiful and constructive ideas came to me, and I carried these out to the best of my understanding.

Due to my desire to support the Monitor, an advertisement was placed in it, and we had many fine letters from different localities. We had complete harmony in the selling of our house to purchasers who had seen our advertisement in the Monitor. They were entirely happy with the transaction, finding that the place would meet their needs as to climate, size, and location.
