Christian Science means everything...

Christian Science means everything to me. My first healing was that of indigestion, from which I had suffered all my life. Sick headaches and tonsillitis were also among my early healings. These healings, which occurred more than thrity-five years ago, have been permanent.

One day while reaching above my head for a box of concentrated lye, I spilled some of the lye into my eyes. The pain was very severe for a moment, and I felt my way to a table and washed my eyes with clear water. All the while I declared spiritual truths, as we are taught to do in Christian Science. Then I returned to my duties, which included some sewing, and I suffered no aftereffects. More recently, with the help of a practitioner, gall bladder trouble was overcome.

The blessings our family has had through Christian Science have been many. Before taking up the study of this Science, I felt the need of some sort of medicine each day, but in the many years I have studied Science, I have felt no need of any medical care.
