Throughout my life Christian Science has been my only physician. My childhood training in our home and in the Christian Science Sunday School firmly convinced me that God's power is equal to every emergency. I have witnessed many healings in our family, and I should like to express gratitude for them.

One of my ears suddenly became very painful and lost its hearing. I telephoned a practitioner and asked her to help me. In addition, I prayerfully studied our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. A sentence on page 463 stood out to me, "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." I held to this statement, and one day the ear suddenly popped and started to drain. Within fifteen minutes it was free, and I could hear better than I had ever heard before.

I had a beautiful healing of grief when my mother passed on some years ago. A few years later my husband passed on, and again I was freed from sorrow. I held to "the scientific statement of being," found on page 468 of Science and Health, until I felt uplifted and free from depression and loneliness. Some time afterward a beautiful companionship unfolded, and I became the stepmother of two lovely girls, who are now attending the Christian Science Sunday School.
