ARE WE READY?

Does not the provocative question, Are we ready? confront or challenge many of us at times? Ready to do what? we may ask. Ready, of course, to claim our true, spiritual sonship with God; ready to follow Christ, Truth; ready to receive God–bestowed blessings.

Man, God's idea, is always ready because of his at–one–ment with and reflection of God, his Father. In reality one's God–directed spiritual advancement can never be impeded or thwarted, because progress is the unimpeachable, ever–operative law of God, good. But progress in human experience requires spiritual steadfastness of purpose.

An unquenchable, divine desire to understand our relationship to God advances us Spiritward. When this understanding is gained, we are able to turn away from perishable materiality and to differentiate between the spiritual and material, the real and the unreal, truth and error. Spiritual preparedness bars the door, keeping error from crossing the threshold of consciousness. Boundless development, advancement, progress, and success are attainable through our readiness.
