From early childhood I was dissatisfied with the teachings of the church of my parents' choice, and for years I sought answers to my questions concerning God, baptism, resurrection, and ascension.

My introduction to Christian Science followed my husband's healing overnight of a severe fever, which had resulted in delirium. This healing was brought about by the prayer of a Christian Scientist, and the following day I bought the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The study of this book began to answer my questions, and adherence to the rules set forth in it has kept me well and happy.

I have proved that Christian Science heals broken bones as well as other difficulties. On one occasion I slipped and fell on the floor. Being unable to rise, I dragged myself to a couch. There was a clear indication of a broken bone in the area of the hip.
