TRUTH IS INCONTROVERTIBLE

That which is true has no genuine opponent. There may be discussions, misunderstandings, arguments, as one strives to arrive at a conclusion as to what is true. But the truth stands forever established, eternally perfect and complete. It is always right. If one were to undertake to measure the height of a building, the height itself would never be in doubt; only one's consciousness of that established height would be in question. The method of measuring it might be debatable, but the footage would remain exact, whether measured or not.

Spiritual reality cannot be varied by debate or discussion. Only the human appraisal, the human understanding of that which is real, seems uncertain. Pilate asked Jesus (John 18:38), "What is truth?" But apparently Pilate was not interested in an answer. Jesus knew that Truth is God and therefore is eternal, indisputable, changeless. By his acts during his ministry, by his resurrection and ascension, Jesus proved the value of Truth. He demonstrated Truth to be Life eternal. Demonstration, then, is the most logical method of defining Truth. We prove Truth by showing what even a small understanding of it does.

Truth stands alone. Whether supported by human advocates or not, it remains real, indisputable. That Truth is God and is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent is proved daily by demonstration in Christian Science.
