In Psalms it is written (105:1), "O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." Ever since I first knew of Christian Science I have been so grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for reinstating the healing method of Christ Jesus and for establishing The Mother Church and its branches.

Many physical healings have occurred in my experience. Colds and influenza have been healed instantaneously as have burns and cuts. Some healings have taken a period of time, but I am grateful for lessons in patience and consecration to God which I learned during these delays.

One such circumstance occurred about two years ago. As a result of a bicycle accident, I suffered such pain and swelling that it was impossible to sleep or rest. A practitioner worked for me, and I was admitted to a Christian Science nursing home. For three weeks the condition did not improve, but the loving care and the prayerful help I received brought a change of consciousness at last, and I then regained a sense of peace and the ability to sleep normally. The realization came that since God is Life, He must be expressed in activity. When asked to play the piano for hymn singing, I obeyed this leading of divine Mind, and then many other little ways opened up for me to help others.
