CHRISTIAN SCIENCE REACHING THE FAR CORNERS OF THE GLOBE

As Christian Scientists are alert to the opportunities at hand for bringing the message of Truth to others, avenues of activity continue to unfold. Thus the good tidings of Christian Science are reaching more and more to the far corners of the globe.

The following comments are taken from a report which has come from the Ocean Liner Library Service for Christian Science Books, Port of New York:

"In the Christian Science Sentinel of April 24, 1954, attention was drawn to an activity that had been organized in 1951 by the Churches of Christ, Scientist, of Greater New York. The work of the committee affords an opportunity to place authorized books on Christian Science in the passenger libraries of ocean liners entering the port of New York. These ships sail from New York harbor to many lands, such as Africa, Bermuda, England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, South America, Sweden, and the West Indies. Some of the vessels make cruises around the world.
