Christian Science came into my life over twenty years ago at a time of great financial lack. I agreed to satisfy a member of my family by investigating this religion. Literature was obtained from the nearest Reading Room, and I attended Sunday morning services in a branch church. The readings from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy so impressed me that I read these textbooks at every opportunity. I also attended lectures on Christian Science and listened to the radio broadcasts.

The words of Christ Jesus (Matt. 6:33), "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you," were held to, along with the words of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; andif you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment."

Step by step I was lifted out of an inharmonious condition to one of peace and harmony, and satisfactory employment was found. Each change of position or home has been for a better one, and I can honestly say I have not lacked any needed thing since beginning the study of Christian Science and learning to depend upon God rather than person. Science indeed presented to me a new way of Life, and complete regeneration has been the result. Physical problems have also been met, sometimes by my own understanding and sometimes with the help of a more experienced Christian Scientist.
