It is with a heart filled with gratitude for God's love and tender care that I submit this testimony.

A few years ago I became extremely nervous and was filled with fears of all kinds. At first I tried material means for help, but when I was told by different doctors that they could do nothing, I turned to God in prayer.

I knew God could deliver me from the depths, but I had to learn what God is; so I began a search from one church to another, always seeking answers to my questions and never finding them. At last I was lovingly led to a Church of Christ, Scientist, and to a very patient Christian Science practitioner. Then the errors of mortal mind were erased, one by one, until I gained an understanding of Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 339), "The basis of all health, sinlessness, and immortality is the great fact that God is the only Mind; and this Mind must be not merely believed, but it must be understood."
