I am very grateful for the opportunity to express my thanks to God for the many blessings and healings I have had through Christian Science.

One of my healings took place about three years ago. I was using a steam iron one morning, and I set the iron on end. It tipped over on my right hand, and blisters covered my hand at once. I got my copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and turned to page 22, where our Leader writes, "'Work out your own salvation,' is the demand of Life and Love, for to this end God worketh with you." Also I found on page 393, "Have no fear that matter can ache, swell, and be inflamed as the result of a law of any kind, when it is self-evident that matter can have no pain nor inflammation." My hand cleared up at once, and I thanked God for my healing.

The deepest gratitude came to my husband and me on December 1, 1955. Two friends were riding with us when a front tire blew out, and our car turned over twice. I knew that accidents are not known to God and that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). Moreover, I knew that God's children are always all right. We were all protected, and no one was hurt.
