I wish to express my gratitude for all the benefits I have received through the study of Christian Science. For more than fifteen years I suffered from a disease on both hands which interfered with my work. The disease was diagnosed by several doctors. Some of them said it was eczema; others said it was an allergy. I employed every system of healing known to me, without obtaining any relief.

Upon the invitation of a Christian Science friend of mine, I attended a Wednesday testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. From that evening on I have continued to attend the church, for I was impressed by the love and joy which the members expressed. I had been despondent and confused because of the sudden loss of my son. But when I began reading the Bible and the Christian Science textbook. Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, my troubles, including physical and mental fatigue, disappeared.

I have had many other demonstrations of Truth. One of them occurred when I was at my work in a laboratory. I spilled a container of very hot water over my hand and arm. At once I declared the perfection of God and man, and the healing was instantaneous. In the same laboratory I cut my finger on a rusty drill. I was told that I should put some kind of remedial substance on the finger, but I knew the only substance that could heal me was God. The finger was soon well.
